Pushing his career further, Clarkson fought William Johnson on August 22nd, 2014 adding to his winning record. Johnson was stopped in the 3rd round via TKO meaning Clarkson was the 17th person to stop this opponent.
Clarkson went into his next fight against Dmitry Bivol on April 14th, 2017 with a career record of 11 wins. Once again Clarkson was in a tough fight, one that proved to be a step too far in Clarkson's latest fight. Opponent Bivol fought well and was rewarded with a win, and crowned only the 2nd man to stop Clarkson in the process. The fight ended in round 4 via TKO.
