Santiago went into his next career fight with a record of 14-3-1 and took this to 15 wins with a win against Alex Rangel on September 21st, 2013. Rangel was stopped in the 9th round via TKO crowning Santiago as the first person to stop this opponent. Santiago then went on to win a further 5 fights taking his record to 20 wins, 3 losses and 1 draws.

On February 16th, 2016, Santiago went into action again and beat Erik Ruiz taking the winning record to 21 wins. In 2016 Santiago fought his next opponent in Erik Ruiz. A challenging 10 round fight that ended in Santiago's favour as the judges awarded Santiago the UD victory. Santiago was the 4th person to defeat Ruiz.

Latest Fight

Santiago's next defeat of his career came against Jose Cayetano on September 16th, 2016. This latest challenge for Santiago proved to be too much for him, taking a UD loss to the better technical fighter over the 10 rounds and leaving Santiago wondering which direction his career will head next.
