On November 9th, 2012, Tatakhun took on and was defeated by Chris John in his first career defeat meaning his career tally went to 43-1-0. Coming into the fight with high confidence Tatakhun fought his next fight against Chris John on November 9th, 2012. Unfortunately, Tatakhun was outclassed and lost the decision on the judges scorecards taking his record to 43-1-0. 9 wins followed where Tatakhun went on to fight Yon Armed, Eddy Comaro and Nouldy Manakane amongst others, prolonging his win streak.
Keeping his losses at 2, Tatakhun fought on January 15th, 2016 beating Sadiki Momba via TKO. This took his record to 52-2-0 showing quite the successful career to date. Tatakhun was the 3rd person to stop Sadiki and he did it in the 3rd round via TKO. The fight was due to last 12 rounds.
On July 16th, 2016, Tatakhun took on and was defeated by Miguel Berchelt meaning his career tally went to 52-3-0 This bout proved to be the toughest of Tatakhun's 55 career fights to date. Berchelt was too skilful and took 4 rounds to dispose of Tatakhun. This was Tatakhun's first stoppage defeat as he looks to move on and rebuild going forwards.
