Setting up his pro career well and building his confidence in the pro ring, Imam became the 2nd person to take Christian Steele the distance and claimed a UD debut win. Imam was the first person to stop Jared Robinson and he did it in the 4th round via TKO. On July 18th, 2015, Imam was in action again beating Fernando Angulo taking his win streak to 18 wins. Becoming the 2nd fighter to stop Angulo in his career, Imam beat Angulo via KO in the 4th round of a 12 round fight.
Imam went into his next fight against Adrian Granados on November 28th, 2015 with a career record of 18 wins. Granados was a push too far for Imam and after a tough fight Granados became the first person to beat and stop Imam in round 8.
In Imam's most recent fight, Wilfredo Acuna was handed a beating by Imam on July 2nd, 2016 to ensure his win record increased further again to 19 wins. Imam's win against Acuna was only the 8th time Acuna had been stopped. The fight finished in the 3rd round of a 6 round fight via TKO.
