Berridge lost to Vasily Lepikhin in his next fight. Taking place on August 9th, 2014, Berridge's career record after this fight stood at 24-2-1. Lepikhin was a fight too far for Berridge and after a rough fight Lepikhin became the first person to stop Berridge in round 5.
Berridge's next defeat of his career came against Eleider Alvarez on July 29th, 2016. A valiant effort from Berridge, but one that was out of his reach technically. The fight came to a close after the final bell in a UD loss for Berridge. A setback for Berridge pro journey for sure.
