Sam Sheedy started off his pro career aged 20 and currently has a record of 13-1-0. Sheedy now looks to build on the experience gained in his first 14 fights. Sheedy's longest KO streak is 1 fights long out of his 14 pro career fights.
An explosive pro debut saw Sheedy face Russell Pearce in a 6 round debut fight. Sam became only the 2nd person to stop Pearce shy of the full distance, stopping him in the 2nd. Maintaining a successful start proved easy for Sheedy with a further 7 wins, beating boxers such as Jason Ball, Martyn King and Terry Carruthers.
On March 8th, 2009 Sheedy fought and beat Martyn King (2-0-0) to continue his unbeaten streak. Showing his class against King, Sheedy was the 3rd person to go the distance with this opponent. 8 wins followed where Sheedy went on to be the 2nd person to stop Jason Ball (Round 1 TKO), 5th person to defeat Terry Carruthers and 15th person to beat Max Maxwell.
Next was Stanislav Nenkov on September 21st, 2013 where Sheedy took the win continuing his unbeaten streak. Sheedy was the first person to stop Stanislav Nenkov and he did it in the 5th round via RTD. Taking his record to 12-0-0. Sheedy then went on to win his next fight against Adam Jones.
Next was Samet Hyuseinov on March 21st, 2014 where Sheedy took the win continuing his unbeaten streak. In 2014 Sheedy fought his next opponent Samet Hyuseinov and defeated him via PTS. Sheedy was the 5th person to go the distance with Hyuseinov.
Sam Sheedy failed to add another win to his record by losing against Tommy Langford on November 26th, 2016, taking his record to 13-1-0. In a courageous battle, Langford's skill was too great over the 12 rounds for Sheedy as he got handed his first pro defeat. With plenty of options still available to Sheedy, it's unlikely this is the last we'll see of him.
