Solomon Haumono started off his pro career aged 24 and currently has a record of 24-4-2. Haumono now looks to build on the experience gained in his first 30 fights. He started his best winning streak on July 2000 however, this came to an end on August 2008. In this period he won a total of 15 fights.

Early Career

Getting rid of his debut fight nerves early, Haumono took on Ken Fuller in July 2000 and claimed a stoppage victory (round 2, KO). Haumono was the first person to have ever stopped Fuller. Continuing on from his successful debut, Haumono continued his winning streak by winning his next 15 fights. In this time he fought and beat Fatu Tuimanono, Cliff Couser and Tommy Connelly to name just a few, fighting 2 times in 2000, 2 times in 2001 and 11 times between 2002 and 2008.

Haumono went into his next fight against Justin Whitehead on August 16th, 2009 with a career record of 16-1-1. Coming into the fight with high confidence Haumono fought his next fight against Justin Whitehead on August 16th, 2009. Unfortunately, Haumono was outclassed and lost the decision on the judges scorecards taking his record to 16-1-1.

On September 18th, 2009, Haumono went into action again and beat Michael Kirby taking the winning record to 17 wins. Haumono's fight against Michael Kirby came in the 10th round of a 12 round fight via TKO. Haumono became the first person to stop Kirby. Haumono continued his success in the next 2 fights taking his record to 18-1-2

Solomon Haumono Vs Franklin Egobi

On September 7th, 2012, Haumono went into action again and beat Franklin Egobi taking the winning record to 19 wins. Becoming the first person to stop Franklin Egobi, Haumono beat Egobi via TKO in the 10th round of a 10 round fight. Haumono then went on to win again against Kyotaro Fujimoto setting him up well for his next pro fight.

Solomon Haumono Vs Kevin Johnson

Taking a knock to his career, Haumono fought and was defeated by Kevin Johnson on April 28th, 2013 taking his record to 20-2-2. Haumono faced the first stoppage of his career against Kevin Johnson in the 10th round of a 12 round fight via KO. Fights against Hunter Sam, Marcelo luiz Nascimento, Manuel alberto Pucheta and 1 other followed where he won all 4 fights taking his winning streak to 24 wins.

Solomon Haumono Vs Joseph Parker

Haumono's next defeat of his career came against Joseph Parker on July 21st, 2016 taking his career record to 24-3-2. Parker upset Haumono, stopping him in the 4th round and becoming only the 2nd person to stop Haumono.

Latest Fight

The next defeat of Haumono's career came against Tomasz Adamek on June 24th, 2017. This took his career record to 24-4-2. Opponent Adamek fought well and proved he was technically superior to Haumono over the full 10 round fight. The fight came to a close after the final bell, Adamek the victor on the judges decision (UD), with Haumono left wondering where his career will go next.
