Showing his superior boxing ability in an impressive debut, Williams picked up the win against Martin Sweeney and became only one of 3 people to have taken him the full 6 round distance. Following on from his debut, Williams continued his career by fighting in a further 10 fights. Keeping his losses at 1, Williams fought on December 3rd, 2011 beating Karl Place via TKO. This took his record to 12-1-0 showing quite the successful career to date. Place proved to be no match for Williams, and Williams became the first person to stop Place via TKO during round 2. Williams continued his success in the next 4 fights taking his record to 15 wins, 2 losses and 0 draws.
On July 19th, 2014, Williams took on and was defeated by Luca Giacon meaning his career tally went to 15-3-0. Williams was stopped by Luca Giacon in the 7th round of a 12 round fight via RTD. It was Williams's 2nd stoppage defeat in his career.
Taking another knock in his career, Williams fought Bradley Skeete on November 23rd, 2015 and was defeated by Skeete. Opponent Skeete fought well and proved he was technically superior to Williams over the full 10 round fight. The fight came to a close after the final bell, Skeete the victor on the judges decision (UD), with Williams left wondering where his career will go next.
