Although beaten, Scott Cardle has gained plenty of experience over 24 fights and a 6 year long career so far. He now moves on to see just how far he can go as he approaches the later stage of his career. He started his best winning streak on March 2012 however, this came to an end on November 2015. In this period he won a total of 19 fights.
Cardle fought and defeated Sid Razak in a successful 4 round debut. The decision was left to the judges after the final bell in a PTS result favouring Cardle. Cardle then went on to win his next 12 fights - fighting 8 times in 2012 and 4 times in 2013 racking up wins against Maxi Hughes, Gary Fox and Miguel Aguilar amongst others.
Next was Francis Maina on September 22nd, 2012 where Cardle took the win continuing his unbeaten streak. Showing his class against Maina, Cardle was the 3rd person to go the distance with this opponent. 5 wins followed for Cardle including being the 3rd person to stop Luis Garcia, 2nd person to beat Karim Aliliche and 4th person to beat Miguel Aguilar.
Maxi Hughes was up next for Cardle on April 20th, 2013. Cardle continued with his winning streak by beating Hughes. A great showing of his boxing ability, Cardle became the first person to beat Maxi Hughes, beating him over the 10 round distance resulting in a PTS victory. 4 wins followed for Cardle including being the 4th person to stop Paul Appleby (Round 8 TKO), 2nd person to defeat Gary Fox and 9th person to beat Krzysztof Szot.
Furthering his career, Cardle fought Kirk Goodings on September 13th, 2014 and advanced his winning streak to 16 wins. Goodings proved to be no match for Cardle, and Cardle became the first person to stop Goodings via TKO during round 1. Cardle's wins continued and went from 16 wins to 17 after he then defeated Yordan Vasilev.
Craig Evans was up next for Cardle on May 30th, 2015. Cardle continued with his winning streak by beating Evans. A great showing of his boxing ability, Cardle became the first person to beat Craig Evans, beating him over the 12 round distance resulting in a UD victory. Cardle's win streak of 18 rose to 21 following 3 wins against boxers such as Sean Dodd, Kevin Hooper and Ivan Njegac.
Taking a knock to his career, Cardle fought and was defeated by Robbie Barrett on April 15th, 2017 taking his record to 21-1-1. On April 15th, 2017, Cardle took on and was defeated over the distance by Robbie Barrett in his first career defeat. Cardle lost via MD in a valiant effort.
Scott Cardle added another win to his record by beating Michael Mooney on August 4th, 2018, upping his record to 22 wins. Cardle became only the 13th person to defeat Michael Mooney in his 20 long fight career, taking his win tally to 22 via the judges decision (PTS, round 6).
