Although beaten, Steven Pearce has gained plenty of experience over 12 fights and a 2 year long career so far. He now moves on to see just how far he can go as he approaches the later stage of his career. He started his best winning streak on October 2011 however, this came to an end on November 2012. In this period he won a total of 6 fights.
In October 2011, Pearce took Bheki Moyo the full 4 round distance in a PTS decision debut win on the judges scorecards. Pearce's win streak continued to amass with 6 wins against fighters such as Sid Razak, Billy Smith and Matt Seawright.
Taking the first knock of his career, Pearce fought Glenn Foot on January 19th, 2013 and was defeated by Foot. Glenn Foot became the first person to stop Pearce. The win came via TKO in the 2nd round of a 3 round bout. Taking his record to 7-1-0. Pearce then went on to win his next fight against Luke Gallear.
Taking a knock to his career, Pearce fought and was defeated by Sam Eggington on May 3rd, 2013 taking his record to 7-2-0. Pearce was stopped by Sam Eggington in the 7th round of a 10 round fight via TKO. It was Pearce's 2nd stoppage defeat in his career. Pearce then went on to face Rob Hunt where he added another win to his tally.
Pearce went into his next fight against Ryan Hardy on March 1st, 2014 with a career record of 8-3-0. A valiant but fruitless effort for Pearce. Pearce fell just short and was defeated by Hardy over the full 10 round distance.
On July 16th, 2014, Pearce took on and was defeated by Bradley Skeete meaning his career tally went to 8-4-0 Once again Pearce was in a tough fight, one that proved to be a step too far in Pearce's latest fight. Opponent Skeete fought well and was rewarded with a win, and crowned only the 3rd man to stop Pearce in the process. The fight ended in round 3 via TKO.
