Born June 24th 1988 Ricky Boylan (aged 36) has built up a good career record of 14-3-0. With plenty of experience and now 17 fights as a pro, Boylan hopes to move on to better things in future as he moves into the later stages of his career. He started his best winning streak on December 2010 however, this came to an end on September 2014. In this period he won a total of 12 fights.
Boylan fought and defeated Sid Razak in a successful 6 round debut. The decision was left to the judges after the final bell in a PTS result favouring Boylan. Boylan built on his successful start to his career by fighting once in 2010, 2 times in 2011 and 6 times through 2012 and 2013 which included fights against Arek Malek, Bela Sandor and Jan Holec to name just a few.
On July 13th, 2013 Boylan fought and beat Jan Holec (3-0-0) to continue his unbeaten streak. Boylan was the 3rd person to go the distance with Holec. Boylan fought Jan Holec in 2013, the result was via PTS.
Tony Owen was Boylan's next fight on December 14th, 2013 and also his next win in his career. The win happened in the 4th round of a 10 round fight via TKO. Boylan's winning streak went from 10 wins to 12 after he then defeated boxers including Krzysztof Szot and Karoly Lakatos.
Unfortunately, the first defeat of Boylan's career came against Tyler Goodjohn on October 11th, 2014 in Boylan's 13th professional fight. Boylan's technical boxing ability was put to the test as he got outpointed in the 10 round fight against the better man. Goodjohn gave Boylan his first professional loss of his 13 fight career to date. Fights against boxers Daza Usher followed taking his record to 13-2-0
On September 12th, 2015, Boylan took on and was defeated by Cassius Connor meaning his career tally went to 13-3-0. Boylan boxing ability was put under heavy scrutiny in the Connor fight, a test too far for Boylan as he lost via PTS in a judges decision over the 10 round distance.
In Boylan's most recent fight, Lukasz Janik was handed a beating by Boylan on March 26th, 2016 to ensure his win record increased further again to 14 wins. Lukasz Janik was little match for Boylan, as Boylan became only the 19th person to defeat Janik in his most recent fight. The fight went the distance via PTS decision.
