Although beaten, Kirk Goodings has gained plenty of experience over 13 fights and a 4 year long career so far. He now moves on to see just how far he can go as he approaches the later stage of his career. He started his best winning streak on October 2009 however, this came to an end on March 2012. In this period he won a total of 7 fights.
In a successful debut, Goodings fought Sid Razak in a 4 round fight defeating him over the distance and becoming only the 34th person to defeat Razak. Goodings built on his successful start to his career by fighting once in 2009, 4 times in 2010 and 2 times through 2011 and 2012 which included fights against Leon Dean, Lee Jennings and Sid Razak to name just a few.
On November 30th, 2012, Goodings took on and was defeated by Stevie Williams in his first career defeat meaning his career tally went to 7-1-0. Taking the first setback of his career, the November 30th, 2012 Williams defeat went the full distance and ended via PTS. 3 wins followed where Goodings went on to be the 2nd person to stop Dean Mills, 5th person to beat Paul Truscott and 54th person to beat Youssef Al hamidi.
Goodings went into his next career fight with a record of 10-1-0 and took this to 11 wins with a win against Gary Fox on March 29th, 2014. Fox was stopped in the 8th round via TKO crowning Goodings as the first person to stop this opponent.
Taking another knock in his career, Goodings fought Scott Cardle on September 13th, 2014 and was defeated by Cardle. Goodings never really got going in his latest fight vs Cardle. Cardle was the better man and became the first fighter to stop Goodings in a round 1 TKO shutout.
