Early Career

Chavez jr continued his mostly successful career with numerous fights following his debut against boxers including Tyler Ziolkowski, Ruben Galvan and Aaron Drake. On June 25th, 2005, Chavez jr was in action again beating Ruben Galvan taking his win streak to 20 wins. Galvan proved to be no match for Chavez jr, and Chavez jr became the first person to stop Galvan via TKO during round 4. Chavez jr's win streak of 20 rose to 35 following 15 wins against boxers such as Jermaine White, Ray Sanchez, Jose Celaya and 12 others.

On April 26th, 2008, Chavez jr went into action again and beat Tobia giuseppe Loriga taking the winning record to 36 wins. Loriga was stopped in the 9th round via KO crowning Chavez jr as the first person to stop this opponent. Chavez jr's win streak of 36 rose to 46 following 10 great wins, becoming the first to stop Jason Lehoullier, First to beat Sebastian Zbik and First to beat Luciano leonel Cuello.

Sergio gabriel Martinez was next in line for Chavez jr where unfortunately, he was defeated on September 15th, 2012 taking his record to 46-1-1. Coming into the fight with high confidence Chavez jr fought his next fight against Sergio gabriel Martinez on September 15th, 2012. Unfortunately, Chavez jr was outclassed and lost the decision on the judges scorecards taking his record to 46-1-1. 2 wins followed taking Chavez jr's winning streak to 48 wins.

Andrzej Fonfara was next in line for Chavez jr where unfortunately, he was defeated on April 18th, 2015 taking his record to 48-2-1. Chavez jr was beaten by Andrzej Fonfara in the 9th round. The win came via RTD in the 9th round. This was Chavez jr's first stoppage defeat. Chavez jr then went on to face Marcos Reyes where he added another win to his tally.

On December 10th, 2016, Chavez jr went into action again and beat Dominik Britsch taking the winning record to 50 wins. Chavez jr's UD win against Dominik Britsch came via judges decision of a 10 round fight. Chavez jr became the 3rd person to defeat Britsch and secured a great win.

Latest Fight

Taking another knock in his career, Chavez jr fought Saul Alvarez on May 6th, 2017 and was defeated by Alvarez. A valiant effort from Chavez jr, but one that was out of his reach technically. The fight came to a close after the final bell in a UD loss for Chavez jr. A setback for Chavez jr pro journey for sure.
