On June 11th, 2016, Nelson took on and was defeated by Demetrius Andrade meaning his career tally went to 25-3-1 Nelson's 29 fight experience wasn't enough to prepare him for his most recent outing, Andrade outclassed Nelson from the start and became the first to stop Nelson in round 12 of 12 via TKO.
