Having started off in the pro game in September 2008 and having built a perfect unbeaten record of 27-0-0, Charlo (age 34) now looks to move into the later stages of his career and step up against some of the top prospects in the division. Early Career

In September 2008 Charlo faced Cimarron Davis in his debut bout over 4 rounds, but only 2 were needed as Charlo became the quickest person ever to stop Davis via a 2 round TKO victory. Charlo then went on to win his next 14 fights - fighting 2 times in 2008, 4 times in 2009 and 8 times between 2010 and 2013 racking up wins against Orlando Lora, Luis Hernandez and Edgar Perez amongst others.

Norberto Gonzalez was up next for Charlo on September 11th, 2014. Charlo continued with his winning streak by beating Gonzalez. Charlo's fight against Norberto Gonzalez came in the 7th round of a 8 round fight via TKO. Charlo became the first person to stop Gonzalez. 3 wins followed for Charlo including being the 3rd person to stop Cornelius Bundrage, 2nd person to stop Lenny Bottai (Round 3 KO) and 5th person to go the distance with Michael Finney.

On November 28th, 2015, Charlo was in action again beating Wilky Campfort taking his win streak to 23 wins. Becoming the first person to stop Wilky Campfort, Charlo beat Campfort via TKO in the 4th round of a 12 round fight. Taking his record to 24-0-0. Charlo then went on to win his next fight against Austin Trout.

Next was Julian Williams on December 10th, 2016 where Charlo took the win continuing his unbeaten streak. Charlo was the first person to stop Julian Williams and he did it in the 5th round via KO.

On July 29th, 2017, Charlo was in action again beating Jorge sebastian Heiland taking his win streak to 26 wins. Becoming the first person to stop Jorge sebastian Heiland, Charlo beat Heiland via TKO in the 4th round of a 12 round fight.

Latest Fight

The unbeaten run continued with the defeat of Hugo Centeno jr in his latest fight on April 21st, 2018, taking his winning record to 27 wins. Charlo showed his exceptional talent against Centeno jr becoming the first of 23 fighters to stop him. The win came for Charlo in the 2nd via KO. Charlo now moves up the ladder to greater things.
