Although beaten, Felix Diaz has gained plenty of experience over 21 fights and a 7 year long career so far. He now moves on to see just how far he can go as he approaches the later stage of his career. He started his best winning streak on June 2009 however, this came to an end on April 2015. In this period he won a total of 17 fights.
In a great debut, Diaz took on Hugo Pacheco in a 6 round fight, becoming the 7th person to stop Pacheco in his 11 fight career to date. Following his debut, Diaz had an impressive start to his career as he went on to win his next 11 fights including 3 times in 2009, 5 times in 2010 and 3 times through 2011 and 2012 against the likes of Bronislav Kubin, Edinson Garcia and Andrey Berdyshev.
On January 23rd, 2010 Diaz fought and beat Bronislav Kubin (9-1-0) to continue his unbeaten streak. Kubin was stopped in the 3rd round via KO crowning Diaz as the first person to stop this opponent. Fights against Gabriel Bracero, Emmanuel lartei Lartey, Andrey Berdyshev and 10 others followed where he won all 13 fights taking his winning streak to 17 wins.
Taking the first knock of his career, Diaz fought Lamont Peterson on October 17th, 2015 and was defeated by Peterson. Taking the first setback of his career, the October 17th, 2015 Peterson defeat went the full distance and ended via MD.
On July 16th, 2016, Diaz went into action again and beat Sammy Vasquez taking the winning record to 18 wins. A great showing of his boxing ability, Diaz became the first person to beat Sammy Vasquez, beating him over the 10 round distance resulting in a UD victory.
Diaz kept his losses at 1 by beating Levis Morales on December 16th, 2016. The win against Morales came in the 6th round of a 10 round fight via TKO. Diaz was the 2nd person to stop Morales.
On May 20th, 2017, Diaz took on and was defeated by Terence Crawford meaning his career tally went to 19-2-0 Diaz's 21 fight experience wasn't enough to prepare him for his most recent outing, Crawford outclassed Diaz from the start and became the first to stop Diaz in round 10 of 12 via RTD. Diaz looks to move on and rebuild from here.
