Early Career

In an impressive debut, Lopez kept his calm and defeated Carlos Gorham over 4 rounds via a judges decision. This was only the 3rd time Gorham had been taken the full distance. Lopez continued his mostly successful career with numerous fights following his debut against boxers including Marcos Villasana jr, Marcos Villasana jr and Edgar alejandro Lomeli. Taking the first knock of his career, Lopez fought Daniel San miguel on August 4th, 2012 and was defeated by San miguel. Lopez's fight against Daniel San miguel was Lopez's first stoppage defeat of his career. This came via KO in the 1st round of a 6 round fight. Lopez then went on to win a further 15 fights taking his record to 17 wins, 3 losses and 0 draw.

Jairo Lopez Vs Fermin De los santos

Lopez kept his losses at 3 by beating Fermin De los santos on May 16th, 2015. De los santos was a worthy challenger but Lopez was too much and became the first person to stop De los santos via TKO during round 9.

Jairo Lopez Vs Dante Jardon

Lopez's career took a knock with a loss against Dante Jardon on August 8th, 2015 taking his record to 18-4-0. Lopez fought Dante Jardon and was defeated via TKO in the 12 round bout. This was Lopez's 2nd stoppage defeat in his career which came in the 2nd round. A tricky fight against Juan jose Martinez followed Jardon where Lopez was defeated and moved his record to 18 wins, 5 losses and 0 draws.

Jairo Lopez Vs Rodolfo Flores

On February 20th, 2016, Lopez took on and was defeated by Rodolfo Flores meaning his career tally went to 18-6-0. Lopez fought and was defeated by Rodolfo Flores. Lopez was the 4th person to go the distance with this opponent. Lopez then went on to face Edgar Puerta where he added another win to his tally.

Latest Fight

The next defeat of Lopez's career came against Luke Campbell on February 25th, 2017. This took his career record to 19-7-0. A great performance by opponent Campbell added a 3rd stoppage defeat to Lopez's career. Lopez was outmatched and the fight was brought to a halt in round 2 via TKO.
