On January 14th, 2017 Davis fought and beat Jose Pedraza (19-0-0) to continue his unbeaten streak. Pedraza was a worthy challenger but Davis was too much and became the first person to stop Pedraza via TKO during round 7.
Gervonta Davis went into his latest fight with Liam Walsh on May 20th, 2017 with 17 wins and he continued this winning streak taking it to 18 wins. It didn't take long for Davis to work Walsh out in his most recent fight. With a stoppage in the 3rd round, Gervonta Davis became the first fighter to stop Walsh via TKO and moves on to bigger things.
