Although beaten, Luke Campbell has gained plenty of experience over 20 fights and a 5 year long career so far. He now moves on to see just how far he can go as he approaches the later stage of his career. Campbell's longest KO streak is 6 fights long out of his 20 pro career fights.
In July 2013 Campbell faced Andy Harris in his debut bout over 6 rounds, but only 1 were needed as Campbell became the quickest person ever to stop Harris via a 1 round TKO victory. Campbell built on his successful start to his career by fighting 4 times in 2013 and once in 2015 which included fights against Daniel eduardo Brizuela, Levis Morales and Krzysztof Szot to name just a few.
Next was Scott Moises on February 22nd, 2014 where Campbell took the win continuing his unbeaten streak. Campbell was the first person to stop Scott Moises and he did it in the 8th round via TKO. Campbell's win streak of 5 rose to 9 following 4 great wins, becoming the 3rd person to stop Krzysztof Szot, 3rd person to stop Daniel eduardo Brizuela (Round 5 TKO) and 6th person to go the distance with Craig Woodruff.
Keeping his losses at zero, Campbell fought on March 7th, 2015 beating Levis Morales. Campbell was the first person to stop Levis Morales and he did it in the 3rd round via TKO.
On May 9th, 2015, Campbell was in action again beating Aboubeker Bechelaghem taking his win streak to 11 wins. Becoming the first person to stop Aboubeker Bechelaghem, Campbell beat Bechelaghem via TKO in the 3rd round of a 8 round fight. Taking his record to 12-0-0. Campbell then went on to win his next fight against Tommy Coyle.
Unfortunately, the first defeat of Campbell's career came against Yvan Mendy on December 12th, 2015 in Campbell's 13th professional fight. Campbell's first defeat came over the full distance against Yvan Mendy on December 12th, 2015. The fight went to the judges in a SD loss for Campbell. Fights against Darleys Perez, Gary Sykes, Derry Mathews and 2 others followed where he won all 5 fights taking his winning streak to 17 wins.
On September 23rd, 2017, Campbell took on and was defeated by Jorge Linares meaning his career tally went to 17-2-0. A valiant but fruitless effort for Campbell. Campbell fell just short and was defeated by Linares over the full 12 round distance.
Ensuring he added another win to his tally, Luke Campbell defeated Yvan Mendy on September 22nd, 2018 in his latest fight. Campbell out-boxed Mendy over 12 rounds in his most recent performance, taking the win via UD and moving on to bigger and better things.
