Starting his career in February 2006 at the age of 18, orthodox boxer Danny Butler has now been pro for 10 years and has built up a career of 25-6-0. Butler now moves into the final stages of his career. He started his best winning streak on February 2006 however, this came to an end on November 2008. In this period he won a total of 14 fights.
Butler made an impressive debut on February 2006, showing his class and technical boxing skill Butler went the full 6 rounds with Thomas and became the first person to do so. Butler continued his mostly successful career with numerous fights following his debut against boxers including Terry Adams, Matty Hough and Carl Drake. Butler was the 2nd person to go the distance with Martin Sweeney. 10 wins followed for Butler including being the 4th person to go the distance with Rocky Chakir, 2nd person to stop David Wakefield (Round 7 RTD) and 4th person to stop Jamie Ambler (Round 2 KO).

Coming into the fight with high confidence Butler fought his next fight against Martin Murray on November 22nd, 2008. Unfortunately, Butler was outclassed and lost the decision on the judges scorecards taking his record to 14-1-0. Butler continued his success in the next 5 fights taking his record to 18 wins, 2 losses and 0 draws.
Taking a knock to his career, Butler fought and was defeated by Darren Barker on November 28th, 2009 taking his record to 18-3-0. Darren Barker became the first person to stop Butler. The win came via TKO in the 7th round of a 12 round bout.
Butler went into his next career fight with a record of 20-5-0 and took this to 21 wins with a win against Thomas Costello on March 9th, 2013. Costello was stopped in the 10th round via TKO crowning Butler as the first person to stop this opponent. Fights against Jason Ball, Cello Renda and Martin Concepcion followed where he won all 3 fights taking his winning streak to 24 wins.
Pushing his career further, Butler fought Giorgi Ungiadze on April 18th, 2015 adding to his winning record. Butler was the 24th person to beat Giorgi Ungiadze where he showed his talent as a technical boxer, beating him over 10 rounds in his 30th professional fight.
Taking another knock in his career, Butler fought Gary Corcoran on March 25th, 2016 and was defeated by Corcoran. Opponent Corcoran fought well and proved he was technically superior to Butler over the full 10 round fight. The fight came to a close after the final bell, Corcoran the victor on the judges decision (UD), with Butler left wondering where his career will go next.
