Ready to showcase his talent in the pro ranks, Bellamy defeated Takayuki Hosokawa over 6 rounds in his debut to secure his first win (MD) against a durable Hosokawa. Bellamy continued his mostly successful career with numerous fights following his debut against boxers including Yoshitaka Katabami, Akihiro Furukawa and Gaku Takahashi. Fights included fighting 2 times in 2006, 5 times in 2007 and 7 times through 2008 and 2009.

Pushing his career further, Bellamy fought King Davidson on June 29th, 2010 adding to his winning record. Bellamy really made a statement in this fight, defeating Davidson via SD over the distance and crowning himself as the first person to defeat Davidson in his 12 fight career to date. Bellamy's win streak of 14 rose to 23 following 9 great wins, becoming the 4th person to stop Tadashi Yuba (Round 9 TKO), 3rd person to stop Koji Numata and 6 person to go the distance with Kyung-suk Kwak.
On November 9th, 2013, Bellamy went into action again and beat Mike Ruiz taking the winning record to 24 wins. Bellamy's MD win against Mike Ruiz came via judges decision of a 8 round fight. Bellamy became the 8th person to defeat Ruiz and secured a great win.
Taking another knock in his career, Bellamy fought Jermell Charlo on May 24th, 2014 and was defeated by Charlo. Fighting over a competitive 12 round bout, Bellamy was outclassed in his most recent outing taking a UD loss over the distance at the hands of Charlo.
