Early Career

In July 2008 Sillah faced Matt Halvorsen in his debut bout over 4 rounds, but only 1 were needed as Sillah became the quickest person ever to stop Halvorsen via a 1 round KO victory. Continuing on from his successful debut, Sillah continued his winning streak by winning his next 13 fights. In this time he fought and beat Jose humberto Corral, Daniel Judah and Ray Smith to name just a few, fighting 6 times in 2008 and 4 times in 2010.

Sillah entered his next fight with 15 wins and took this to 16 with a win against Hamza Wandera on May 21st, 2011. Wandera proved to be no match for Sillah, and Sillah became the first person to stop Wandera via TKO during round 3. Taking his record to 17-0-0. Sillah then went on to win his next fight against Ali Ismailov.

Unfortunately, the first defeat of Sillah's career came against Denis Grachev on April 27th, 2012 in Sillah's 18th professional fight. Sillah faced the first defeat of his career against Denis Grachev in the 8th round of a 10 round fight via TKO. Fights against Konstantin Piternov, Mitch Williams, Daniel adotey Allotey and 1 other followed where he won all 4 fights taking his winning streak to 21 wins.

Taking another knock in his career, Sergey Kovalev was next in line for Sillah with Kovalev coming out victorious. Sillah career was at 21-2-0 following the fight. Kovalev upset Sillah, stopping him in the 2nd round and becoming only the 2nd person to stop Sillah.
