Although beaten, Gakuya Furuhashi has gained plenty of experience over 22 fights and a 8 year long career so far. Furuhashi proved he was made for the pro ranks in his debut against Takuhei Mori, becoming the first person in Mori's 0 fights to stop him. The fight ended in round 2 of 4. Furuhashi continued his mostly successful career with numerous fights following his debut against boxers including Masaki Nakajima, Akihiko Katagiri and Kento Kasahara. Fights included fighting 2 times in 2007 and 3 times in 2009.

Furuhashi fought Kento Kasahara in 2008, the result was via UD. Furuhashi fought boxers including Masaki Nakajima and Toshikuni Wake and he went on to win another 2 fights.
On September 25th, 2008 Furuhashi fought and beat Tomoyuki Kawabata (4-1-1) to continue his unbeaten streak. Showing his class against Kawabata, Furuhashi was the 5th person to go the distance with this opponent. Furuhashi took on another 2 opponents next, racking up wins against Akihiko Katagiri and Daisuke Ochi.
Unfortunately, the first defeat of Furuhashi's career came against Masayoshi Tachiki on April 7th, 2009 in Furuhashi's 9th professional fight. Taking the first setback of his career, the April 7th, 2009 Tachiki defeat went the full distance and ended via SD.
Keita Nakano was the next fight for Furuhashi on April 10th, 2014 and also his next career win. Furuhashi was the 9th person to beat Keita Nakano where he showed his talent as a technical boxer, beating him over 8 rounds in his 21st professional fight.
The next defeat of Furuhashi's career came against Yasutaka Ishimoto on August 7th, 2015. This took his career record to 16-6-0. A blow for Furuhashi confidence, Furuhashi was taken the full distance by Ishimoto and was handed a UD loss on the judges decision. A tough technical fight that leaves Furuhashi unsure on where his career will head next.
