Finally getting his feet wet in the pro ranks Valenzuela became the first to go the distance with Andres Quintana over a 4 round win for Valenzuela. Valenzuela rise in boxing continued with 5 fights against fighters such as Joaquin Avila, Andres Quintana and Javier Nunez.
Keeping his losses at 0, Valenzuela fought on October 5th, 2013 against Carlos Villa where the result was a draw. This took his record to 4-0-1 showing a successful career to date. In 2013 Valenzuela fought his next opponent Carlos Villa ending in a draw. Although it ended in a draw, Valenzuela was the 4th person to go the distance with Villa.
Pushing his career further, Valenzuela fought Jose Salinas on January 31st, 2014 adding to his winning record. Becoming the first person to stop Jose Salinas, Valenzuela beat Salinas via TKO in the 5th round of a 6 round fight. Valenzuela's wins continued and went from 5 wins to 6 after he then defeated Esteban Villalba.
Keeping his losses at 0, Valenzuela fought on June 28th, 2014 beating Brian Garcia via TKO. This took his record to 7-0-1 showing quite the successful career to date. Becoming the 8th fighter to stop Garcia in his career, Valenzuela beat Garcia via TKO in the 2nd round of a 8 round fight.
The wins continued with the defeat of Frank Maruffo on July 18th, 2014 in Valenzuela's most recent fight taking his winning record to 8 wins. The most recent outing for Valenzuela proved one that was easier than expected. Maruffo was left wanting as the fight ended in round 1 of 4 (TKO). Valenzuela now moves on to hopefully face some of the bigger names in the division.
