Shelton was a worthy challenger but Stevenson was too much and became the first person to stop Shelton via TKO during round 2. 12 wins followed for Stevenson including being the 9th person to stop Sebastien Hamel, 2nd person to stop Joshua Robertson and 6th person to stop Dontre King (Round 1 KO).

Andre Baker was beaten next on March 1st, 2014 meaning Stevenson could maintain his unbeaten streak. Stevenson was the 12th person to stop Andre and he did it in the 3rd round via KO.

James Stevenson Vs Sammy Vasquez

Taking the first knock of his career, Stevenson fought Sammy Vasquez on August 8th, 2014 and was defeated by Vasquez. Vasquez was a push too far for Stevenson and after a tough fight Vasquez became the first person to beat and stop Stevenson in round 9.

Roberto Garcia was next in line for Stevenson where unfortunately, he was defeated on April 24th, 2015 taking his record to 21-2-0. Outclassed, Stevenson took another loss as the judges awarded Garcia the UD win on a great performance.

Latest Fight

The next defeat of Stevenson's career came against Ivan Golub on September 23rd, 2016. This took his career record to 21-3-0. A great performance by opponent Golub added a 2nd stoppage defeat to Stevenson's career. Stevenson was outmatched and the fight was brought to a halt in round 3 via TKO.
