Although Sonny boy Jaro has been beaten in his career, with a fight count of 57 fights and a 13 year long career he approaches the end of his career with a record of 39-13-5. Getting rid of his debut fight nerves early, Jaro took on Daniel Arisala in September 2001 and claimed a stoppage victory (round 4, TKO). Jaro was the first person to have ever stopped Arisala. Taking a knock to his career, Jaro fought and was defeated by Florante Condes on March 15th, 2003 taking his record to 5-2-0. Jaro was stopped by Florante Condes in the 2nd round of a 4 round fight via TKO. It was Jaro's 2nd stoppage defeat in his career. Jaro's win streak of 5 rose to 23 following 18 wins against boxers such as Jojo Bardon, Jojo Bardon, Rex Granada and 15 others.
On February 29th, 2008, Jaro was in action again with a win via TKO against Julius Alcos taking his mostly successful record to 24-6-5. Jaro was the first person to stop Julius Alcos and he did it in the 4th round via TKO. Jaro then went on to win a further 12 fights taking his record to 32 wins, 10 losses and 5 draw.
Pushing his career further, Jaro fought Pongsaklek Wonjongkam on March 2nd, 2012 adding to his winning record. Jaro was the 2nd person to stop Pongsaklek and he did it in the 6th round via TKO.
On February 15th, 2015, Jaro was in action again with a win via TKO against Albert Alcoy taking his mostly successful record to 38-13-5. Alcoy was stopped in the 2nd round via TKO meaning Jaro was the 10th person to stop this opponent in his career.
The wins continued with the defeat of Shota Kawaguchi on April 29th, 2015 in Jaro's most recent fight taking his winning record to 39 wins. Jaro became only the 6th person to defeat Shota Kawaguchi in his 24 long fight career, taking his win tally to 39 via the judges decision (MD, round 8).
