In a great debut, Akaho took on Hisafumi Ashikawa in a 4 round fight, becoming the 2nd person to stop Ashikawa in his 5 fight career to date. Akaho continued his pro journey, which was mostly successful at this point, by fighting 16 fights following his debut. Fights against boxers such as Junnosuke Nagayasu, Takahiro Furukawa and Yuki Kubo followed including 4 times in 2005, 2 times in 2006 and 10 times between 2007 and 2010.
Topnation Ohara was beaten next on December 17th, 2005 meaning Akaho could maintain his unbeaten streak. Continuing his career, Akaho fought Topnation Ohara in 2005 over 4 rounds. Akaho was the 2nd person to go the distance with Topnation Ohara. 13 wins followed where Akaho went on to fight Yuki Kubo, Takahiro Furukawa and Junnosuke Nagayasu amongst others, prolonging his win streak.
On May 18th, 2011, Akaho went into action again and beat Fred Mundraby taking the winning record to 16 wins. Mundraby was stopped in the 5th round via RTD crowning Akaho as the first person to stop this opponent.
On December 3rd, 2011, Akaho went into action again and beat Toyoto Shiraishi taking the winning record to 17 wins. Akaho was the first person to stop Toyoto Shiraishi and he did it in the 9th round via TKO. 2 wins followed taking Akaho's winning streak to 19 wins.
Yota Sato was next in line for Akaho where unfortunately, he was defeated on December 31st, 2012 taking his record to 19-1-2. Taking the first setback of his career, the December 31st, 2012 Sato defeat went the full distance and ended via UD. 7 wins followed where Akaho went on to be the 4th person to stop Prosper Ankrah (Round 4 KO), 4th person to stop Jecker Buhawe (Round 6 TKO) and 6th person to stop Elmar Francisco.
Akaho lost to Pungluang Sor singyu in his next fight. Taking place on August 7th, 2015, Akaho's career record after this fight stood at 26-2-2. Taking a huge blow to Akaho's confidence, Sor singyu proved to be too much and stopped Akaho early, becoming the first person to defeat Akaho via stoppage.
The wins continued with the defeat of Toyoto Shiraishi on May 19th, 2016 in Akaho's most recent fight taking his winning record to 27 wins. Toyoto Shiraishi was little match for Akaho, as Akaho became only the 9th person to defeat Shiraishi in his most recent fight. The fight went the distance via UD decision.
