Bundu then went on to win a further 11 fights taking his record to 24 wins, 0 losses and 2 draw.

Daniele Petrucci was the next fight for Bundu on November 4th, 2011 and also his next career win. Bundu really made a statement in this fight, defeating Petrucci via UD over the distance and crowning himself as the first person to defeat Petrucci in his 30 fight career to date. 6 wins followed where Bundu went on to be the 2nd person to stop Rafal Jackiewicz (Round 11 KO), first to stop Antonio Moscatiello and First to beat Frankie Gavin.

On December 13th, 2014, Bundu took on and was defeated by Keith Thurman meaning his career tally went to 31-1-2. Bundu's technical boxing ability was put to the test as he got outpointed in the 12 round fight against the better man. Thurman gave Bundu his first professional loss of his 34 fight career to date. Taking his record to 32-1-2. Bundu then went on to win his next fight against Pablo Munguia.

On April 22nd, 2016, Bundu went into action again and beat Jussi Koivula taking the winning record to 33 wins. The win against Koivula happened in the 9th round of a 12 round fight via TKO.

On August 21st, 2016, Bundu took on and was defeated by Errol Spence jr meaning his career tally went to 33-2-2 Bundu never really got going in his latest fight vs Spence jr. Spence jr was the better man and became the first fighter to stop Bundu in a round 6 KO shutout.
