Although beaten, Ippei Aoki has gained plenty of experience over 13 fights and a 5 year long career so far. An explosive pro debut saw Aoki face Junji Maeda in a 4 round debut fight. Ippei became only the 2nd person to stop Maeda shy of the full distance, stopping him in the 1st. Fights against boxers such as Ryuji Yokota, Ryoto Yoshihara and Akira Naito followed including 2 times in 2008 and 2 times in 2010.
Taking the first knock of his career, Aoki fought Shota Kawaguchi on August 15th, 2009 and was defeated by Kawaguchi. Taking the first setback of his career, the August 15th, 2009 Kawaguchi defeat went the full distance and ended via UD. Aoki fought boxers including Ryuji Yokota and Ryoto Yoshihara and he went on to win another 2 fights.
Aoki went into his next fight against Lowie Bantigue on March 21st, 2011 with a career record of 6-2-0. Aoki failed to reach the later rounds of this tough 8 round fight, Bantigue was too much and stopped Aoki early to become the only person to stop Aoki. The fight ended in round 2 via KO. Fights against Ngaotawan Sithsaithong, Xiang Jing and Wanchai Korat sportschool followed where he won all 3 fights taking his winning streak to 9 wins.
On March 24th, 2013, Aoki went into action again and beat Yuki Takemoto taking the winning record to 10 wins. In 2013 Aoki fought his next opponent in Yuki Takemoto. A challenging 8 round fight that ended in Aoki's favour as the judges awarded Aoki the UD victory. Aoki was the 18th person to defeat Takemoto.
Taking another knock in his career, Aoki fought Takahiro Yamamoto on October 13th, 2013 and was defeated by Yamamoto. Out for his 13th career fight, Aoki was once again outmatched where he suffered a 2nd round TKO loss in only his 2nd stoppage defeat to date. Another blow for the talented Aoki.
