Born December 7th 1976, orthodox fighter Alexander Ustinov started his career in May 2005 at the age of 28 and has now been pro for 9 years, fighting a total of 31 times. In May 2005 Ustinov faced Aleh Tsukanau in his debut bout over 6 rounds, but only 2 were needed as Ustinov became the quickest person ever to stop Tsukanau via a 2 round TKO victory. Ustinov was the 2nd person to go the distance with Abramyan. Fights against Hans-joerg Blasko, Julius Long and Daniel Bispo followed where he won all 3 fights taking his winning streak to 13 wins.
Maksym Pedyura was up next for Ustinov on February 26th, 2009. Ustinov continued with his winning streak by beating Pedyura. Becoming the first person to stop Maksym Pedyura, Ustinov beat Pedyura via TKO in the 5th round of a 12 round fight. Ustinov's win streak of 14 rose to 25 following 11 great wins, becoming the 3rd person to stop Oezcan Cetinkaya, 6th person to stop Ed Mahone (Round 4 TKO) and 6th person to stop Byron Polley (Round 2 KO).
On March 3rd, 2012, Ustinov was in action again beating Kertson Manswell taking his win streak to 26 wins. Ustinov was the 2nd person to stop Kertson and he did it in the 3rd round via TKO. The fight was due to last 8 rounds. Ustinov then went on to face Jason Gavern where he added another win to his tally.
On September 29th, 2012, Ustinov took on and was defeated by Kubrat Pulev in his first career defeat meaning his career tally went to 27-1-0. Kubrat Pulev became the first person to stop Ustinov. The win came via KO in the 11th round of a 12 round bout. Ustinov then went on to win again against Ivica Perkovic setting him up well for his next pro fight.
On November 16th, 2013, Ustinov went into action again and beat David Tua taking the winning record to 29 wins. Ustinov secured the win over Tua after the final bell via UD, resulting in Ustinov being the 5th person to defeat Tua.
Alexander Ustinov went into his fight with Chauncy Welliver on December 11th, 2014 with 29 wins and he added another win to his record taking it to 30 wins by beating Welliver. Keeping his record on track, Ustinov showed his boxing ability in his most recent fight, taking Chauncy Welliver the distance and securing a UD decision victory in a 8 round fight.
