Becoming the 3rd fighter to stop King in his career, Gonzalez beat King via TKO in the 2nd round of a 8 round fight. Gonzalez then went on to face Chad Greenleaf where he added another win to his tally.

Rudy Cisneros was up next for Gonzalez on May 13th, 2011. Gonzalez continued with his winning streak by beating Cisneros.
