Born November 16th 1986, orthodox fighter Anthony Crolla started his career in October 2006 at the age of 19 and has now been pro for 10 years, fighting a total of 41 times. Crolla lost to Derry Mathews in his next fight. Taking place on April 21st, 2012, Crolla's career record after this fight stood at 23-3-0. Crolla faced the first stoppage of his career against Derry Mathews in the 6th round of a 12 round fight via TKO.
Pushing his career further, Crolla fought Darleys Perez on November 21st, 2015 adding to his winning record. Perez was a worthy challenger but Crolla was too much and became the first person to stop Perez via KO during round 5.
Crolla kept his losses at 4 by beating Ismael Barroso on May 7th, 2016. Becoming the first person to stop Ismael Barroso, Crolla beat Barroso via KO in the 7th round of a 12 round fight. Unfortunately a loss followed for Crolla taking his record to 31 wins, 5 losses and 3 draws.
Crolla went into his next fight against Jorge Linares on March 25th, 2017 with a career record of 31-6-3. Outclassed, Crolla took another loss as the judges awarded Linares the UD win on a great performance.
The wins continued with the defeat of Ricky Burns on October 7th, 2017 in Crolla's most recent fight taking his winning record to 32 wins. Crolla became only the 7th person to defeat Ricky Burns in his 48 long fight career, taking his win tally to 32 via the judges decision (UD, round 12).
