Ndou's pro career began against Enoch Khuzwayo (1-1-0) in a 4 round contest. Ndou got the PTS win via a judges decision. Following on from his debut, Ndou continued his mostly successful career by fighting in a further 32 fights. In this time he fought Daomai Sithkodom, Justin Rowsell and Renato Cornett to name just a few, fighting 2 times in 1993, 7 times in 1994 and 23 times between 1995 and 2000 in this period.
The first defeat of Ndou's career came against Jeremiah Malinga on July 19th, 1994. This took his career record to 6-1-0. On July 19th, 1994, Ndou took on and was defeated over the distance by Jeremiah Malinga in his first career defeat. Ndou lost via PTS in a valiant effort. Fights against boxers including Jerry Ngobeni, Johar Abu lashin and November Ntshingila followed where he won 17 fights taking his winning streak to 21 wins.
Justin Rowsell was the next fight for Ndou on December 14th, 1998 and also his next career win. Rowsell was a worthy challenger but Ndou was too much and became the first person to stop Rowsell via TKO during round 6. 18 wins followed where Ndou went on to fight Carlos Uribe, Victor hugo Paz and Daomai Sithkodom amongst others, prolonging his win streak.
Keeping his losses at 6, Ndou fought on March 7th, 2004 beating Kiatchai Singwancha via KO. This took his record to 37-6-1 showing quite the successful career to date. Singwancha was stopped in the 4th round via KO meaning Ndou was the first person to stop this opponent. Ndou continued his success in the next 9 fights taking his record to 44 wins, 8 losses and 1 draws.
On February 4th, 2007, Ndou went into action again and beat Naoufel Ben rabeh taking the winning record to 45 wins. Ben rabeh was a worthy challenger but Ndou was too much and became the first person to stop Ben rabeh via RTD during round 11.
Taking a knock to his career, Ndou fought and was defeated by Kell Brook on June 25th, 2011 taking his record to 48-13-2. Ndou fought a brave fight but in the end was outclassed by Kell Brook over the 12 distance.
Lovemore Ndou went into his fight with Gairy St clair on August 10th, 2012 with 48 wins and he added another win to his record taking it to 49 wins by beating St clair. Ndou took St clair the distance and became only the 12th person to defeat St clair. Made the decision not to fight again and end his career on a high after 64 pro fights.
