After a debut fight on June 2006, Paul Truscott (age 38) has now built a record of 19 wins, 5 losses, 0 draws over a 24 fight career so far. He started his best winning streak on June 2006 however, this came to an end on October 2008. In this period he won a total of 12 fights.
In a successful debut, Truscott fought Billy Smith in a 4 round fight defeating him over the distance and becoming only the 39th person to defeat Smith. Truscott then went on to win his next 12 fights - fighting 3 times in 2006 and 3 times in 2008 racking up wins against Ben Odamattey, Alexander Miskirtchian and Osumanu Akaba amongst others.
Next was Alexander Miskirtchian on October 3rd, 2008 where Truscott took the win continuing his unbeaten streak. Miskirtchian was a great challenge for Truscott, losing over the full 8 round distance and crowning Truscott as the 2nd person to have defeated Miskirtchian.
Unfortunately, the first defeat of Truscott's career came against John Simpson on January 16th, 2009 in Truscott's 13th professional fight. Simpson was a push too far for Truscott and after a tough fight Simpson became the first person to beat and stop Truscott in round 8. Truscott then went on to face Andrey Kostin where he added another win to his tally.
John Simpson was next in line for Truscott where unfortunately, he was defeated on September 4th, 2009 taking his record to 13-2-0. Truscott fought John Simpson and was defeated via TKO in the 12 round bout. This was Truscott's 2nd stoppage defeat in his career which came in the 10th round. Truscott's win streak of 13 rose to 18 following 5 wins against boxers such as Zsolt Nagy, Zsolt Nagy, Graeme Higginson and 2 others.
Pushing his career further, Truscott fought Sandor Racz on April 19th, 2013 adding to his winning record. Truscott was the 5th person to go the distance with Racz. Truscott fought Sandor Racz in 2013, the result was via PTS.
Taking a knock to his career, Truscott fought and was defeated by Richard Commey on July 13th, 2013 taking his record to 19-4-0. Truscott was beaten by Richard Commey in the 8th round. Truscott had only ever been stopped 3 times previously in his career.
Truscott's next defeat of his career came against Kirk Goodings on October 19th, 2013. Fighting over a competitive 10 round bout, Truscott was outclassed in his most recent outing taking a UD loss over the distance at the hands of Goodings.
