Born September 7th 1983, orthodox fighter Andre Berto started his career in December 2004 at the age of 21 and has now been pro for 13 years, fighting a total of 37 times. Berto's longest KO streak is 14 fights long out of his 37 career fights.

Unfortunately, the first defeat of Berto's career came against Victor Ortiz on April 16th, 2011 in Berto's 28th professional fight. Taking the first setback of his career, the April 16th, 2011 Ortiz defeat went the full distance and ended via UD.
On September 3rd, 2011, Berto went into action again and beat Jan Zaveck taking the winning record to 28 wins. Zaveck was stopped in the 5th round via RTD crowning Berto as the first person to stop this opponent. Following on from Zaveck, Berto faced and was defeated by Robert Guerrero taking his loss count to 2
On July 27th, 2013, Berto took on and was defeated by Jesus Soto karass meaning his career tally went to 28-3-0. Jesus Soto karass became the first person to stop Berto. The win came via TKO in the 12th round of a 12 round bout. Berto continued his success in the next 4 fights taking his record to 31 wins, 4 losses and 0 draws.
Berto went into his next fight against Shawn Porter on April 22nd, 2017 with a career record of 31-5-0. Berto was stopped by Shawn Porter in the 9th round of a 12 round fight via TKO. It was Berto's 2nd stoppage defeat in his career.
Andre Berto went into his fight with Devon Alexander on July 28th, 2018 with 31 wins and he added another win to his record taking it to 32 wins by beating Alexander. Berto became only the 5th person to defeat Devon Alexander in his 32 long fight career, taking his win tally to 32 via the judges decision (SD, round 12).
