Limond faced the first defeat of his career against Alex Arthur in the 8th round of a 12 round fight via TKO. Taking a knock to his career, Limond fought and was defeated by Amir Khan on July 14th, 2007 taking his record to 28-2-0. Khan upset Limond in a 12 round fight, stopping him in the 8th round and becoming only the 2nd person to stop Limond. 5 wins followed where Limond went on to be the 6th person to beat Ryan Barrett, 5th person to beat Martin Watson and 10th person to beat Harry Ramogoadi.
Erik Morales was next in line for Limond where unfortunately, he was defeated on September 11th, 2010 taking his record to 33-3-0. Limond was stopped by Erik Morales in the 6th round of a 12 round fight via KO. It was Limond's 3rd stoppage defeat in his career. Fights against boxers including William Warburton and Arek Malek followed where he won 3 fights taking his winning streak to 35 wins.
Eddie Doyle was Limond's next fight on January 21st, 2013 and also the next win in his career via TKO. This took his record to 36-4-0 showing a mainly successful career to date. Doyle proved to be no match for Limond, and Limond became the first person to stop Doyle via TKO during round 1. Limond's winning streak went from 36 wins to 38 after he then defeated boxers including Mitch Prince and Curtis Woodhouse.
Pushing his career further, Limond fought Zaurs Sadihovs on January 30th, 2016 adding to his winning record. Sadihovs was a worthy challenger but Limond was too much and became the first person to stop Sadihovs via TKO during round 1.
The next defeat of Limond's career came against Tyrone Nurse on May 28th, 2016. This took his career record to 39-5-0. Out for his 44th career fight, Limond was once again outmatched where he suffered a 9th round TKO loss in only his 4th stoppage defeat to date. Another blow for the talented Limond.
