Although beaten, Francesco Versaci has gained plenty of experience over 21 fights and a 7 year long career so far. Coming into the fight with high confidence Versaci fought his next fight against Dario Cichello on November 16th, 2007. Unfortunately, Versaci was outclassed and lost the decision on the judges scorecards taking his record to 11-1-0. Versaci's win streak of 11 rose to 18 following 7 great wins, becoming the First to beat Fatjon Murati, 4th person to go the distance with Massimiliano Pizzo and 5th person to go the distance with Maurizio Lovaglio.
Versaci lost to Juho Haapoja in his next fight. Taking place on September 15th, 2012, Versaci's career record after this fight stood at 18-2-0. Being outclassed early, Versaci struggled to get going in this 12 round fight and received the first stoppage defeat of his career at the hands of Haapoja. The fight went 4 rounds before ending via a RTD defeat.
On July 27th, 2013, Versaci took on and was defeated by Leonardo damian Bruzzese meaning his career tally went to 18-3-0 Left wondering where Versaci's career will go next, Bruzzese became only the 2nd man to stop Versaci in the 7th round of a 10 round fight.
