Furthering his career, Torres fought Armando Cruz on September 13th, 2013 and advanced his winning streak to 14 wins. Cruz was stopped in the 3rd round via KO meaning Torres was the first person to stop this opponent. Taking his record to 16 wins, 0 losses and 0 draws, Torres then went on to win a further 2 fights.
On October 11th, 2014 Torres fought and beat Marcos Cardenas (14-4-1) to continue his unbeaten streak. Torres secured the win over Cardenas after the final bell via UD, resulting in Torres being the 5th person to defeat Cardenas.
Eduardo Torres went into his fight with Carlos Jimenez with a record of 17-1-0. Jimenez came out victorious. Carlos Jimenez became the first person to stop Torres. The win came via KO in the 5th round of a 10 round bout. Although this has knocked Torres, let's hope we see another fight of his soon.
